A Whole Lot of Jason Statham September 3, 2008

While almost every tough guy (or used to be) in Hollywood were getting their celebrity break-ups, celebrity divorces, and celebrity-wife pregnancies, one guy never got that much of attention from the… Why? Because he’s doing what every actor should do…. make good movies.

And the guy I’m talking is none other than hard hitting adrenaline junkie, but humorous in his own serious way, Jason Statham. (The tough bald guy with an English accent).

Statham is an English actor well known for his roles in three of those Guy Ritchie crime films (“Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”; “Revolver”; and “Snatch”), which were actually really good action movies if you ask me, and it showed a lot of what this bad-boy can do on screen. Since then, he began to get roles in American films like “The Italian Job”, then followed his leading-roled movies: “The Transporter“, “Crank”, “The Bank Job”, “War” (with Jet Li), and Death Race.

And we all enjoyed those films  right?

So what’s keeping him busy these days? A lot of great movies.

Here (above) are some movies that we all should be waiting for (if you like non-stop action), and if Statham is there, you’re pretty sure it’s gonna be action packed from beginning to the credits.

And I’m not yet even exaggerating.

3 Critical:

  1. Non-Stop Action – when I said this, I meant it in every sense of the word. Or both words.
  2. Bruce Willis? – I’ve heard a lot of the elder men saying he is todays Bruce Willis. Sorry folks, I have to disagree, coz Bruce Willis is Bruce Willis, but Jason Statham is something else.
  3. The Actor – this is what actors should do… make good movies…. not headlines.

You are right. His action is superb. Transport movies are just great.
