Max Payne

After “Hitman” comes another video game turned movie “Max Payne“. This one is actually expected, with the trend of games to movies nowadays, and who will be the better man to play the role?, none other than Mark Wahlberg himself.

If you ask me, it’s actually a good choice for John Moore (Director), and putting Mila Kunis to play the role of Mona Sax is another reason for us to watch this movie.

The story will be modelled from the game itself where DEA agent Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg) along with deadly assassin Mona Sax (Mila Kunis), tries to solve a series of crimes in the city of New York as they also seek to avenge the deaths of their family members who were killed (probably by the same killers) to some involvement in some conspiracy. Along the way, they find themselves being hunted by the police, the mob, and a ruthless corporation.

The movie will be released in October of this year.

3 Critical:

  1. A Lot Of Pain – it’s gonna be two against who knows how many, and this only means one thing… There will be a lot of pain for Payne himself.
  2. The Slow Mo Thing – one thing I love about the game was the slow-motion slide feature that he has, and it’s pretty cool using it while shooting. Will this be in the movie? …. I bet it will.
  3. Max and Sax – this just sounds so right. Right?

Somehow I can’t see Mila Kunis as a femme fatale. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong. I’ll still have to see it.

I guess she’ll be worth the choice.. Pretty, sexy, and that is fatale enough.. .
