Kung Fu Dunk Movie

One of the best things in life for me is Kung Fu, and the other is Dunking (both of which I cannot possibly do), but what happens if you mixed the two? One crazy show with too much to give and could possibly make your day right even if you don’t understand a thing about what they are saying.

Just three words for you…. Kung Fu Dunk“.

I highly recommend this Taiwanese movie which was actually released on February of this year (and I only knew about this now). The film revolves around an orphaned boy who grew up in a kung fu university and becomes a talented basketball player. And as always, it involves getting the attention of a certain girl named Li-Li, whom Fang Shi Jie (Jay Chou) had admired for quite sometime, which also happens to be the sister of Ting Wei (Bo-Lin Chen), the leader of their team. As the story moves on, they find themselves having to face the toughest basketball team (composed of banned players from Japan), and by this, you pretty much must expect a lot of Kung Fu and Dunking.

Yao Ming was suppose to have an appearance in this movie, but he wasn’t able to due to his injuries.

If you had fun watching the Shaolin Soccer, then this will certainly make your day.

3 Critical:

  1. A Basketball Movie – I thought I’d never see one again. It’s been a long time.
  2. Nice Idea – combining the two (Kung Fu and Dunking) is surely going to release our wildest imaginations. Maybe even before seeing the movie.
  3. What’s Next? – I’m sure Chu Yin-Ping (Director) had a lot in stored for us. Kung Fu Poker maybe, or a chess match with real people doing Kung Fu. that would be cool.
