Bad Ass bald guy Jason Statham is back for a sequel of “Crank” in (you guessed it!) “Crank 2: High Voltage”. And it wasn’t referring to the sex scene you saw in the first movie, but that of hi new Abiocor Implantable Artifical Heart, which is powered by electricity. If the previous movie required him to pump up his adrenalin to stay alive, this time he needs his body to be electrically charged to keep the ticking running.

But just to spoil mechanical geeks… He is not a robot. Just the heart that may look like:

This time, Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) tries to regain his nearly indesdructable heart, which was stolen by the Chinese Mob and replaced with battery powered artificial heart that needs jolts of electricity to keep running. But, since it’s still in production, a couple of things may change. But the same non-stop, bad-ass, adrenalin rushed action is a thing to be expected.

3 Critical:

1. I never thought of this - I never thought they’d make a sequel to a movie where he is presumed dead with his condition. But I’m not bothered by the idea.
2. The Japs, Now The Chinese - in the previous movie, the Japs (inside the bus) saw Chev’s idea of pumping adrenalin when all you have is your girl. Now it’s time the Chinese see it too.
3. How Does It Work? - I’ve read about artifical hearts, but how does it really work? Is there a button to fall in love?
